Young people in difficulty deserve to have resources dedicated to them.
Motivation
What do we want to achieve?
The goal of the association “The Bridge” is to support young people with different difficulties in the best possible way, so that they can later be integrated into society and the world of work.
To achieve these goals, The Bridge Institute uses a proven methodology that has been developed over the years with the help of people and professionals with experience in various educational fields.
The program is aimed at anyone who has difficulties and pathologies in the psychosocial and toxicological field.
Basis
What motivates us to work in this area?
Social values in general and values for environmental resources. According to our mission, resources can and must also be made available to socially disadvantaged people by expanding solidarity and equal opportunities.
Multicultural living together is possible and enriching. The individual needs a strong sense of self-worth, acceptance of their origins and openness in order to get to know and walk new and satisfying paths. As a constantly learning being, human beings depend on a fair and creative environment that offers young people incentives to discover their potential through role models and in a self-motivated manner. In this way they develop self-healing powers, experience a sense of responsibility and strive more and more for independence.
Living and working in the midst of nature and with nature enables children and young people to use and respect nature’s resources. You become more in tune with yourself and develop more interests. Integration into a social environment and work environment becomes possible more quickly.
Objective
What goals do we want to achieve?
The care encourages young people to discover their own resources in dealing with the unknown. The basis for this is a stimulating activity, reliability and the conveying of security within a manageable framework. Escaping is more difficult due to the foreign language and the local distance.
Sooner or later the young people have to learn to get involved, so they are stimulated in their personal growth. The distance to the previous environment favors the commitment and personality development of the young people involved. The outdated is reconsidered, replaced and in this context decisions are made for a new way of life. Social values and norms can be confronted with the unfamiliar environment, allowing you to develop your own positive attitudes. Ecological awareness is triggered by a rural lifestyle and a limited range of consumption.
The aim is for young people to be able to adequately apply what they have learned in the structure and in families so that they can return to their environment or to a protected place, often accompanied, in their country of origin. This important phase of return is always prepared with the parents or with the social services to work out stability solutions and possible follow-up actions.
